The team wrapped up phase 3 presentations this week, where the most important feedback received was regarding the force of the piezoelectric being significant enough to be a feasible actuation method. The teams number one priority going into phase 4 will be proving the displacement of the piezoelectric in the context of the design. The flexible 3D printing filament and modular design have already been made and tested to be working as the team intends. The team also ended with a much larger budget that expected in the initial stages of the beginning to order parts. So, the majority of the funds can be allocated to the late stages of the prototype.
